Bob Tinker
President and Chief Executive Officer

Before MobileIron, Bob led the Business Development team for Cisco’s wireless business units, a combined $1B business. As a member of the executive staff, he was responsible for driving long term revenue growth and expanding Cisco’s wireless initiatives to laptops and smartphones. Before Cisco, Bob was the first business executive at enterprise wireless pioneer Airespace, where he was Vice President of Business Development. Cisco acquired Airespace in 2005. Bob’s previous roles include Director of Marketing at Vertical Networks and Vice President at NationsBank, with oversight of IT, sales, product management, and operations.

Bob is an Executive Board Member of the Foundation for the recently opened University of California at Merced, the first major university built in the U.S. in the last 30 years. He is also a member of the Full Circle Fund, a group of Silicon Valley entrepreneurs in partnership with nonprofits to advance the causes of public education, affordable housing, digital inclusion, and sustainable energy in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Suresh Batchu
Co-Founder and Vice President of Engineering

Before MobileIron, Suresh was Engineering Portfolio Leader for application switching and security at Nortel Enterprise Data Networks. During that time, his team shipped more than 60,000 application switches and accelerators and thousands of firewalls. He built three offshore engineering teams from scratch and established expertise in virtualization and highly scalable systems. Prior to Nortel, Suresh was Engineering Manager at Alteon Websystems, an innovator in internet infrastructure that was acquired by Nortel in 2000. His first startup was HolonTech Corporation.

John Donnelly
Vice President of Sales

Before MobileIron, John was Vice President of Sales at Symantec. He joined Symantec through the 2007 acquisition of Vontu, where he led worldwide sales and established the company as the top provider of enterprise data loss prevention (DLP) solutions, with more than a third of the Fortune 100 as customers. As Vice President of Sales, John has grown several other start-ups from early stage to public market or acquisition as well, including Talking Blocks, Kana Communications, Connectify, and NetGravity. He started his career in sales twenty years ago with Wang Laboratories and then Parametric Technology.

Mike McCarron
Senior Director of Customer Success

Before MobileIron, Mike was Director of Professional Services at Symantec, responsible for Symantec’s Data Loss Prevention (DLP) Consulting Services practice. Mike joined Symantec via their 2007 acquisition of Vontu, and focused his efforts on building an industry-leading services methodology around the emerging DLP space. Mike and his team helped customers build repeatable, efficient, and mature enterprise deployment programs focused on long-term success. Prior to Vontu, Mike managed the Professional Services and customer-facing programs at several other successful technology start-up companies, including Connectify and Kana Communications. Mike began his career at Booz Allen & Hamilton in their Worldwide Technology Business practice, focused on providing strategic business and technical consulting expertise and guidance to their clients.

Ajay Mishra
Co-Founder and Chief Customer Officer

Before MobileIron, Ajay co-founded enterprise wireless pioneer, Airespace, now part of Cisco. He defined the initial product requirements for the company’s products, working hand-in-hand with 20 teaching customers. Ajay also chaired the WLAN-Mobile Convergence (WMC) task force within the WiFi Alliance and launched two new WMC certifications. Ajay is a frequent speaker on mobile convergence and its implications for the enterprise.

Before Airespace, Ajay ran product management for the Cisco Mobile Office Network (MNET). He integrated the acquisitions of JetCell and Exio, built the products team, and successfully launched the Cisco MNET solution at GSM World Congress in 2001. Ajay started his career as an engineer at Motorola, where he was part of the team that designed the world’s first commercial GSM handset in 1990. He was also instrumental in developing Motorola’s first CDMA handset in 1993.

Jeff Ratzlaff
Senior Director of Business Development

Before MobileIron, Jeff spent ten years at Nokia, most recently as Director of Worldwide Channels responsible for the go-to-market strategy and partner ecosystem for Nokia Enterprise Solutions. Jeff’s product portfolio included the Nokia Eseries, Intellisync Mobile Suite Platform, Unified Communications and IP Security solutions. Jeff spent six years at Nokia Asia Pacific regional headquarters in Singapore, responsible for enterprise marketing across fourteen countries. Before Nokia, Jeff led enterprise and OEM sales for InTalk, who developed the world’s first IEEE802.11 products and was acquired by Nokia in 1999. Jeff began his career at RFID Systems Corporation, where he led sales and business development for asset identification and biometric technologies.

Ojas Rege
Vice President of Products and Marketing

Before MobileIron, Ojas was Vice President of Global Mobile Products at Yahoo!, responsible for Yahoo’s mobile search, email, messaging, and content services. The team delivered SMS, mobile web, and client applications for phones, and built extensive platforms to deal with the daunting global fragmentation of mobile technology. Ojas started in mobile in 2000 as Vice President of Product Marketing at AvantGo, one of the first software developers for Palm and PocketPC handhelds. AvantGo was purchased by Sybase iAnywhere Solutions in 2003. Before AvantGo, Ojas managed the online video gaming team at Acclaim Entertainment, spent several years with Boston Consulting Group, and started his career in 1988 as VAX/VMS product line manager at Oracle. Ojas is also a Board Member for Pact, a non-profit in Oakland California that provides adoption services for children of color and their parents.

Kees van Veenendaal
Vice President and General Manager of EMEA

Kees van Veenendaal has more than 25 years experience building successful channel partnerships and sales teams throughout Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA), as well as Americas and APAC. With experience selling into enterprise, service provider and carrier markets, he led sales, support, marketing, finance and human resources in EMEA.

Prior joining MobileIron, Kees was Vice President Worldwide Sales for Trapeze Networks responsible for the sales operations in Americas, EMEA and APAC. Before Trapeze Networks, Kees was vice president of EMEA sales at Extreme Networks, growing revenue to over $120 million across more than 25 countries. He also was managing director of US Robotics Benelux, and held senior European management roles at Gandalf, Digital Communications Associates and Wang. Kees holds an MBA from Universiteit Nyenrode, the Netherlands.
